About Us
The Cheyenne Children’s Museum is an experiential learning center located in the West Edge of downtown Cheyenne and founded on science, technology, engineering, art, math, and reading. Our focus is to create a place for kids, parents, and the community to have an opportunity to explore play-based cognitive experiences, and where hands-on interactions become the source of curiosity and development.
We believe our children deserve a fun, safe and encouraging space for imagination and interaction. Our IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility) Initiative means inclusive and accessible exhibits and programs for children and families with disabilities, a welcoming, diverse, uplifting atmosphere for everyone, and financial support for those in need. The Cheyenne Children's Museum's IDEA vision has been an intentional priority since our inception, and our staff, volunteers and board members will continue this vision as we embrace our role as a joyful and reputable community catalyst.

For The Kids
Joyfulness is a key part of play, and therefore a key part of learning through play.
Children are all born with an innate curiosity and wonderment of their surroundings. They also know how to laugh and play without being taught. Knowing STEAM-based discoveries are the cornerstone for how our children learn about and interact with the world around them, our goal is to ignite curiosity and develop critical thinking skills that are focused on creative problem solving outside of a standard classroom setting.

Groups of all ages can use our facilities for inspiration and collaboration.
Built for the community, Cheyenne Children’s Museum serves more than one purpose or function. We’re excited to open our doors to adults in our community who need elevated and inspiring spaces to come together for creative meetings and gatherings as well.
